I’ve played Mortal Kombat since I was a kid. Even if you do not play it right now, you must have played as a kid. I haven’t played too many different characters as a main character. Though I have three main characters I like to play. Those are: Sub-Zero, Noob Saibot, and … I mostly play Noob Saibot and I like his story. Today, I’m gonna introduce him in a deeper manner.
Most of you don’t know the fact that there are two Sub-Zeros in Mortal Kombat. They are brothers with opposite characteristics. The name of the younger one is Kuai Liang while the other one’s is Bi-Han.
Things start when Bi-Han was killed by Scorpion. Scorpion killed him for the sake of vow revenge. So what was the cause?

Earthrealm and Netherrealm
The Earthrealm is somewhere you’re familiar with: It’s the Earth. The thing we should focus on is that Sub-Zero lives in Earthrealm.
As I mentioned before Bi-Han was killed. So there is a successor place where the dead characters would arrive.
There is a realm in the Mortal Kombat universe called Netherrealm. This is the world placed under the Earthrealm. They are connected to each other. But, better, do not try to touch the under. Yes, it’s hell!
You can consider Sub-Zero lives in the Earth while his brother, Noob Saibot lives in the Hell.
Comeback
Netherrealm hosts one more important character for this story. His name is Quan Chi. He is a mage lives under the Earthrealm with some plans to do.
Quan Chi helps Noob Saibot to make him turn into the Earthrealm in order to revenge Scorpion who killed Noob Saibot, I mean Sub-Zero, unjustly. Before getting back, Noob Saibot has been trained by Quan Chi as you can figure their fatalities make a similar impression in the game.

The Story of Sub-Zero and Scorpion
Scorpion is the general of the Shirai Ryu clan while Sub-Zero is the general of the Lin Kuei clan. Both clans are a blood defendant to each other and combined of ninjas sworn to protect the Shogun. However, on Shogun’s ceasefire order, they swore not to shed blood between them.
Things does not go in a calm way. Sub-Zero zero attacks on Shirai Ryu clan. He massacres their soldiers and Scorpion’s family. At last, he kills Scorpion by freezing him.
Qua Chi helps Scorpion to reborn.
Quan Chi awakens the soul of Scorpion by magic and tells him that if he wants to take revenge on Sub-Zero, he can return his body, stronger.
Here, I have something missed. The story above is that how Scorpion was born. Before that fact, the actual name of Scorpion was Hasashi. The reborn character is Scorpion.
Now the truth…
Quan Chi has made some plans that he supposed to make Scorpion his servant. He has the ability to disguise as he is a mage. He actually attacks on Scorpion’s clan disguised as Sub-Zero.
Scorpion says he has fulfilled his vow of revenge and kills Sub-Zero.
Now,
Scorpion,
Sub-Zero,
Noob-Saibot
were born.
At first, Qua Chi’s plans go the way he wants.
Quan Chi captured Shirai Ryu’s leader, but also ensured the death of the leader of the Lin Kuei clan through Scorpion, and seized the opportunity to resurrect him and take his under his command. Also, Quan Chi transforms Sub-Zero into Noob Saibot.
However, things does not go in the way he has planned. Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Noob Saibot gets out of control of him.
Noob Saibot, soon, wakes to the fact that Quan Chi was the cause of the fight. However, Sub-Zero, Noob Saibot’s brother, is already in a fight against to Scorpion because of Quan Chi’s plans. Noob Saibot finds him in a fight against to Quan Chi.
